Education Qualification
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- You should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- You need to be skilled in the Java programming language and its tools for building enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience in creating RESTful services using Spring (Spring Boot, MVC) or similar frameworks is essential.
- A strong understanding of API design principles, versioning, and security best practices is required.
Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA, and SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, is necessary. - Proven experience in front-end development with a strong command of JavaScript, ES6, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles, along with experience using workflows like Redux, Flux, and Context API.
- Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, JSON Web Tokens, and tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, and CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS.
- Understanding data representation, serialization, exchange, translation, and modeling languages such as XML, XML Schema, XSLT, and JSON.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as Python or Shell script.
- Experience with messaging systems like IBM MQ, Active MQ, and event streaming platforms like Kafka, as well as datastores like Redis.
- Good knowledge of Docker containers and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and container management services.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting data integration and pipeline applications throughout the full system development lifecycle.
- Implement secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performance APIs following design standards.
- Develop user-facing features, reusable components, and libraries using modern front-end frameworks.
- Optimize components for maximum performance, ensuring responsive design and compatibility with multiple web browsers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across different layers of the application stack.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with Product Architects, Product Managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand priorities and execute tasks effectively.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, and work with the L2 support team to debug customer issues and provide solutions and code fixes.
