Job Role:
Operations Deal Managers are trusted advisors to the Sales team, focusing on pipeline management and reducing risks in deals. Their goal is to improve operational deal management across the deal lifecycle, freeing up sales time, speeding up deals, ensuring high quality, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor for deal management in assigned markets, managing stakeholders effectively.
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure top-notch deal management and maximize revenue.
- Work closely with field sales and licensing teams on pipeline management, creating and managing workback plans, and tracking deal progress.
- Communicate effectively to align expectations, especially for critical deals nearing month or quarter-end.
- Provide accurate forecasts for deal volumes and orders.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure sufficient credit capacity to support the deal pipeline.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current business processes, policies, and tools to speed up deals and manage risks.
- Apply policies and program knowledge to advise on deals and handle order processing issues.
- Analyze complex data to understand customer issues and recommend solutions.
- Proactively address changing conditions, identify risks, and report on trends to drive process improvements and productivity initiatives.
