Red Hat Software Engineer Qualification Required
- Candidate must have Bachelor Degree – B.Tech, BCA
- Experience with Docker or Podman
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Knowledge of CI Tools
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with RHEL/Linux
- Experience with Ansible (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of OpenShift 4.x or Kubernetes
- Comfortable working with developers to solve daily challenges
Red Hat Software Engineer Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop new pipeline automations
- Implement new shared tools and solutions
- Create common CI/CD building blocks for sharing
- Address deployment failures by fixing platform bugs
- Enable development teams to manage themselves through clear tools and training
- Participate in IT discussions about changes affecting the CI/CD platform
- Implement tests and validations in the deployment process.
- Handle on-call duties for alarms during business hours and one weekend per month
- Perform operational tasks related to:
- Pipeline errors
- Patching
- Migrations
- Akamai changes
