RPSC RAS Syllabus 2024 Hindi & English
Both Hindi medium and English medium students participate in Rajasthan Administrative Service. In such a situation, the syllabus of both mediums is released in different languages. The topics are the same, but there is a slight change in the language; the syllabus for Hindi medium students is released in Hindi, and for English medium students, the syllabus is released in English. RPSC RAS 2024 Selection Process
For selection in the Rajasthan Administrative Service, a candidate has to go through four stages: the first stage, the RAS Pre Exam; the second stage, the RAS Main Exam; the third stage, the Interview; and the fourth stage, he has to go through document verification and medical test.

RAS Exam Syllabus- Section-wise pattern
The Rajasthan Administrative Services Main Examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission consists of 4 papers. The marking and timing are the same in all papers. All papers are worth 200 marks and the time given is 3 hours. RAS Mains total is 800 marks.
RPSC RAS Prelims Exam Pattern
The first stage of the RAS RPSC Exam is the Prelims Exam, which is used to screen the candidates and their qualifications.
- RPSC RAS Prelims Exam consists of only one paper, General Knowledge and General Science, which is of the objective type and carries a maximum of 200 marks.
- There will be 150 multiple-choice (objective type) questions of equal marks.
- There will be negative markings. A mark of 1/3 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The standard of the paper will be at the level of a graduate degree.
- The marks obtained in the Prelims Exam will not be counted to determine their final order of merit.
- Most of the syllabus overlaps with UPSC IAS. However, the challenge lies in Rajasthan GK.

Let us tell you that the candidate who falls within the range of scoring cutoff marks will be called to appear in the RPSC RAS Mains Exam.
- RPSC RAS Main Exam consists of 4 papers.
- All papers are descriptive/analytical.
- Standard of Paper: GS-1, 2 and 3 are of Graduation level, and Paper 4 (General Hindi and General English) is of Senior Secondary level. The details of the number of papers are given in the table below.
